Wiki-Solar: Global utility-scale solar PV reaches 75 GW at mid-2016

End-June 2016 figures herald a 6th consecutive record year for utility-scale solar photovoltaics (PV), according to capacity data released on August 22nd by Wiki-Solar. Wiki-Solar defines ‘utility-scale solar’ as 4 MWAC and above. New PV plants totaling 10 GW have been commissioned so far in 2016, and an installed total of 100 GW might still be achievable by year-end.
