Trina Solar Q2, 2016 results: 1.7 GW of PV modules shipped, gross margin improved to 18.3%

Trina Solar Limited (Changzhou, China) on August 23rd, 2016 announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30th, 2016. The company shipped solar photovoltaic (PV) modules totaling 1,658.3 MW in the quarter, consisting of 1,619.0 MW of external shipments and 39.3 MW of shipments to the Company's own downstream solar power projects.
